# 9 Portsalon-Fanad Head-Carrickart 33 km (256,7)

The Lady at camping park made breakfast for me (the cafe was closed so thank you for that) telling me:

“Yesterday I heard there are 2 guys walking the wild atlantic way it was on radio! But whats about Marc? my husband said”

“I’m doing this for myself, how much is it?”

“Oh no it’s for free Marc”

The coffee-woman arrived Fanad Head 1 minute beforeย perfect timing

“bon cammino” said the Pepo in the morning “must be a great spiritual experience” hmm let’s have a look:

30 km just on street time to think spiritual things but there is just the “minty mint song” concentrate!!!

every 5 km there is a spoon lying on street??? the minty mint song and the spoon phanomenon-is that spiritual? Maybe a high Level but the output? A junkie driving with car?

Read 1. Samuel: the whole thing so brain tell me something “David is cool” ย Great output brain, but maybe…”he is f*** cool go on” walking with a 2 kg bible reading 2 hours what a great output

so let us see what great spiritualexperiences I made this day: the “minty mint song” (endless repeat), the spoon thing and “David is cool” ya great ๐Ÿ™‚

The guy at camping park is fascinated about walking this thing made coffee and said I should start a blog ya maybe

21:55 sun

f*** cold in tent (9 degree) principle of haha also if I never heard before I’m wearing everything I have even my poncho

# 4 Malin Head-Ballyliffin 27,9 km (113,6)

Where is this hostel??? Asked everyone no one knows then at shop a man knew and took me to hostel with car (back so no cheating) The gentleman said “I’m so sorry we are closed” I answerd “That’s perfect I’m a pilgrim I don’t need much” “A what?” So Robert Walsh gave me coffee and hosted me FOR FREE it was a nice evening! His daughter called and he said “…no no he is o.k. Marc are you o.k.? he is o.k. no he is not from Germany he is from Austria, yes he is o.k….” ๐Ÿ™‚ We talked a lot about pilgrimage and I should write him a Mail when I reach Cork. I will do that. And I should write a book about. Well I would like to…

Thank you Robert Walsh!!! Be blessed you and your daughter and your/her new hostel!!!

walking the wild atlantic way (2500+km) from Londonderry-Derry to Kinsale

I felt like walking…

…so I walked the cammino de Santiago in Spain, a part of the via francigena to Romeย and the cammino de Assisi in Italy in winter (1122 km). It was just great and a little bit weird. I received so much support and hospitality, met so strong people that I decided to go on in Ireland!

I’m walking the wild atlantic way-Ireland’s westcoast from Londonderry-Derry in Donegal to Kinsale in Cork. Should be 2500 km coastline, but when you are walking it could be a little bit more ๐Ÿ™‚

A lot of people encouraged me to start a blog, write a book, or something like that so I started. My wish is to go on walking for charity…but anyway I will ceep on walking. I’m already halfway – falling apart but still alive – you cannot really write down all the things happens, but I really have to say THANK YOU for support! It surprises me every day! People let me stay for free sometimes or support me in other ways making this walk to a real pilgrimage in Ireland ๐Ÿ™‚

I have tons of storrys and great pictures…but there are two facts: my english is terrible and after walking 25-30 km every day I’m just f*** tired that’s why this blog thing and the other stuff on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter is growing very slowly but that’s no problem I see all the great places and I meet lovely people in real life ๐Ÿ˜‰

I would like to share my experiences on the wild atlantic way and say THANK YOU God bless
